so anyway this particular problem has been present in the team for quite some time already. EVERYONE knows it but NOBODY does anything about it or rather they act blur, live longer. i try to protect the usual victims but end up being one myself. woah, sounds serious you think. what am i talking about? it's the coxing issue.

first point, so we know EVERYONE kinda joins db to ROW. NOONE WANTS to COX, duh right. but in a team, shouldnt we at least TAKE TURNS to cox? for first boat i cant say much cause they're gg for seag and they have a designated person to cox kinda thing and since weejin is always on their boat, he does swap ppl around but the fixed coxswains are xw and bobby i think (not too sure cause im not on that boat).. for my boat, (ok i admit im not a vvvv good rower so usually ill volunteer to cox cause idwna drag the boat down, the rest are gna kill me for saying this :S) there is no designated person so other people ALWAYS EXPECT landy to cox. JUST BECAUSE SHE WAS DESIGNATED COXSWAIN FOR DBS, MACAU RACE AND WHATNOTS DOES NOT MEAN SHE HAS TO KEEP COXING. plus due to her work, she has to miss trngs so her water time is already v little. expecting her to cox while those w more regular attendance row is just preposterous. tai guo fen le. already say we're a team so we shld take turns right. so those people closer to her (HAHA SHAMELESS) like jos and i will always offer to cox after her so at least she can row. DISLIKE it when people try to pretend that they dk that it's their turn to cox. I MEAN LIKE WAHLAO how many people nia, how many others cox already of course next is you lah, then who else, us again? we rotate among ourselves is it, is it?!?!?!?!!?!!!!? NOBODY wants to cox. NOBODY wants to sit in front and be drummer. EVERYONE else pushes the duty to one another, even last night, even this morning. AND NOOOOOOOOOO, im not saying imma saint for volunteering to sit out or cox or whatever but i just feel that EVERYONE shld do their part, noone shld be at a disadvantage cause ''we're only as strong as the weakest link''. just because someone is small sized doesnt mean she ALWAYS has to sit out or be drummer. just row w a heavier drummer and you'll get stronger. she already small size, sit out somemore how to improve? what im saying is we shld all be more generous with giving (up our seats) and not just taking (it for granted that SOME OTHER people will always be there to do the dirty work).

short update on today first.
- morning row 0545 - 0650: didnt warm up properly and Weejin got angry ;/ we secretly think he is pms-ing hahaha :X so he changed the program. supposed to be 7891 but he changed to all 100% for the first set. anyways trng was short and sweet so jos and i got to gym early THANK YOU CHERYL FOR FETCHING AND DROPPING US :D and made it for circuit trng which was a fucking killer LOL TMD.
- circuit training 0715: (IDK HOW MANY) stations x 8 sets of 20secs T_T *cue 'The Final Countdown" music*

2. push ups
3. side shuffle
4. v ups but hold @ V position
5. mountain climbers
6. lunge jump
7. delts/shoulders raise but hold at shoulder position
8. v ups again and hold
9. FUCKING burpees

almost died at the end ok esp the legs exercise and the 20secs rest in between passed in the blink of an eye. so there's a buzzer that sounds so you know when to start / stop. never felt my legs ache so badly ): this is worst than legs day. worst of all the class had only 8 people so the instructor was damn free to roam around and spy on errbodeh~

mini updates

so HIIIIIIIIIIIIII here i am hehe here's the lion saying hi. most bombastic bedhead ever belongs to me ok hahaha this is how i look after i wake. this is also how i look after showering. i need a cap to flatten my hair. im not even kidding~ look at my serious face -_- ok straight face? haha no idea how to grow my hair out hehe waiting to see how long the hair can grow to before it starts flopping all over. havent trimmed my hair since HfH hehehehe kinda tempted to go again for next year's budden the time it's taking my fringe to grow (i have a v high forehead) is dissuading me. next year see how lah~ baked some cheesecake brownies on monday with michelle and they turned out fantastic haha her house has so many nice places to take photos at lol like her bed and breakfast table roller hehe thats probably the most amazing thing everrrr~ love it v much and all her cupcake liners so prettyyyy~ initially supposed to bake in a tray then cut budden right, the tray was too big (the brownies will turn out too flat) so we decided (and also for convenience of eating) to bake in the cupcake liners haha tadah~ with my bunny saying hi!! another photo hahaha and the red backdrop is mich holding up her blanket for me as background cause she say her bed v messy LOL wtheck. still cant get over her breakfast in bed roller table I REALLY NEED TO GET IT!! i want it. picture of the carina nebula. space really awes me. i feel humbled and overwhelmed by the sheer possibility of all the possibilities out there. think about it. space is infinite.

nooooooooooooo wait. what seven early eight early. it shld be five early six early. haha so we changed the timing of morning trngs as of monday (2 days ago) and today is the 2nd morning/night/indecent timing that we have trng hahaha. looking at everyone's puffy zombiefied faces makes me feel (IDK, contented?) at peace with my inner demons knowing that im not alone in this battle/fight against the ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ monster. 8x 2on 30 off 2 on wasn't too bad hahahaha. from today's trng, it IS apparent i need anger inside me to be able to row well. hahahah come piss me off :D looking forward to unlease the inner demon in me >:D

it was an intense session of grilling after trng heheheheehhehehe FINALLY have confirmation to all my suspicions all these while. WHAT CAN I SAY. wo kan ren hen zhun okay! :D disclaimer: contrary to popular belief, i am rather good with secrets. if i may say so myself ;p

haha what an absurd title. what post race LOL as if i raced.. weekends passed in a blink. today marks the 8th consecutive day that i have been in raffles place haha all the way till this friday and i would have been here like 12 days straight, how pathetic. nowhere else to go #homelessgirl LOL kidding.

this marks the 3rd regatta that i haven't rowed ahaha feels like it's been forever. okay. three years is kinda considered forever in db terms LOL saw loads of familiar faces. they've moved on and i'm still stuck at where i was. rehder happy with my position i guess.

paid 10bucks cab fare to get my ass to kallang on a black monday morning (this morning) hahaha proceeded to snooze on the chairs outside bunk while waiting for the others to arrive. no more monday blues. it's monday blacks. dont regret paying 10bucks for fare cause i felt that trng was a good one. sometimes i have unhealthy thoughts about stopping db once and for all and pick up other stuff and get a good job. but mornings like these make it all worthwhile.

MOST ANNOYING GIRL IN THE WORLD'S BIRTHDAY / TRIALS

SORRY HANDS TREMBLING FROM TRIALS LANDYMEOWMEOW AND THE STANDARD POSE LOOK AT THEIR LEGS *DROOLS another trials over haha jos suffered the same fate as me. having trials on our bdays which means no cake no thing ): cause not allowed to eat pastry bleah!

anyways did pretty alright for a trial i wasnt prepared for. totally zero confidence for the 1st station: the 2km run BUT surprisingly i did alright hahaha one of the fastest runner in the team was in my detail. totally lost sight of them at the turning point. they suddenly picked up and BOOM~ disappeared. was pacing along to their footsteps. did pretty alright i guess since i wasn't confident and managed to even break my pb. now i can safely say i am a sub 9 :D cause i hit 856 hahahah previously was er. 859~ and 904? i think. and for a trng set before this trial, i did a 928 :( almost died running that set. plus my calves were acting up. i THINK/FEEL that taping helps cause i didnt feel strains on my calf while i was running yday. more of my loser thighs, no strength!!!! and i was not VVVVV out of breath. kept listening to the same song. hardwell saved my life. aiya music is just a mental thing i guess. the fastest runner in the team dont need music to run that fast. need to change, need to improve. but im contented w run (:

after the run then it's to my other hated stations haha funny how the other girls hate the run but i am secretly ok w it. anyways pull ups i deproved from my previous trial by 1. totally lost grip so i did 13? bleah~ truckloads to improve on. i can, will do it. just need to have a stronger grip!

situps 55 hehe trng w jos helped. and she shouted at me to do faster so i guess that helped too. she is currently the reigning sit up queen w 68 in a min under her belt. ok shall keep trng w her hehe to have explosive power to chionggggg~~ now my abs hurt from yday's situps wah damn weakkkk i tell you!

bench pull i had confidence cause i did it before during trng so i started with a 22.5 then 23.5 then 24. barely managed to hit the 23.5 so i didnt have the ballz to go heavier haha managed to hit for 24 so it's a vast improvement lah.

bench press: v reluctant to go heavier cause i know i kinda cannot do it. so it was 20, 21.5 and 22.5(X) so maintained as per previous trials. it's damn weird cause i can do much heavier in the gym. bleah not gna score points for this station ugh.

ergo haahha screwed up and didnt pull fast enough so i only have myself to blame hehe. legs ached like siao after the set. think i used too much tip toes instead of driving from the heel bleah~ nvm will keep practicing.

all in all it was a good trial! (: gained confidence in certain stations, know where i need to improve on. and so happy that running improved even with my shitty injured legs.

also it was the annoying one's birthday. haha i see her on a daily basis so much so that i do not have the right words to wish her here lol. anyways happy bday hehe it's hard to imagine youre only so young. here's to wishing we celebrate many more bdays together. really proud of you for being the reigning situp queen, train me to be the princess pls! happy halloween hehe no wonder you look like a ghost TEEHEE <3 you long time. wishing we'll always stay close. hope you had a blast. the present, card will come later. enjoy your lunch later HAHAHA i buy lah ok. <33333333333333333333333333
