another mini rambling update

cant decide what to post here and what not to post haha must protect myself lol in case i let slip any idk... er, awkward secrets haha ok kidding. im like an open book, no secrets..

x bought a pair of really pretty melissas haha it's their melissa x disney collection i think and mine is in dark blue with beauty and the beast print on soles and a really cutesy red x glitter ribbon at the front. no idea if yall saw it yet on my dayre.. buti shall post another picture here haha for convenience.

 

x went to boiler sg cause someone grossly underestimated his pay so when he found out he had excess, he decided to treat us heehee.

x weekend afternoons are spent in the gym / by the pool. only pictures of my legs cause hehehe i like :p

ok the end cause my mozilla is lagging v badly and i am annoyed.

10 things i love. Gonna do it here instead of on instagram cause i got tagged by @hypersubtleness haha hope this counts but ill still get you your gummies lah ok i not so kiam siap.

1. My bolster

This tops the list definitely cause it is something i cant do without. I dont sleep with soft toys or pillow but i need my bolster. It's followed me everywhere i go cause i really cant sleep without it. It's been to trng camps with me since poly and also to korea taiwan and everywhere that I've been for competitions. Thankfully it's baby sized so it's easier for me to bring everywhere teehee ok la say out alr i feel so malu. Er it follows me onto the airplane too...
I sniff it and kiss it almost every night and i bury my face in it when I'm in bed. Ok #clingy #possessive bolster owner. Too many s's in possessive i dont even know if i spelt it correctly. 

2. Baking

Yupp you read it right. I love baking haha but it's sth i picked up pretty recently. Only about 4 plus years ago cause i wanted to bake an apple pie for my then gf.. hahahaha wanted to surprise her with it but failed surprise lah... cui. Anw my skills have improved drastically so I'm quite pleased with myself haha #bhb i know but rly looks quite nice what. If you've been following my dayre entries, i post what i bake.
I guess working in bnj also played a huge role in this. Cause we had to bake cookies last time and decorate ice cream cakes. So i wanted to try baking rainbow cupcakes while in the store and do the icing. It grew from there i guess. And i did a rose cake haha all from watching cake boss on youtube. I guess you can say I'm a visual learner.

3. Egypt

Yes this is super random i know but i super duper love egypt. I dont have to travel everywhere in the world but i rly wish to go to egypt once in my life. I dont know why egypt. But i think it was because mummy used to bring us to big bookshop near our area and she'dgo look at cookbooks while i roamed the children's section. So i picked up this ancient history picture book and was super enthralled by king tut's gold mask. So i devoured the book haha not literally.. but yea. Egypt !!!

4. Reading

I may not look like it but deep inside I'm a bookworm. Hahaha i read all sorts of books and i guess this reading habit came from when mummy kept bringing us to the bookshop when younger. I rmb reading abt manicures and stuff. I read horror, thriller, true singapore ghost stories, all of Enid Blyton's(my very first book was when i was 5plus, Mr Icy Cold and i still have it). Harry potter series. Twilight series. Maze runner series. Battle hymn of the tiger mother. Divergent series.

And i dont really buy books. I just camp at the bookshop to finish the whole book. This is also partly due to us growing up in a below average family so we didnt have the luxury of always buying books. But mummy bought them for us whenever she could. And i asked for books as xmas / bday presents too.. so yea i love reading. It brings me to another world, a little sweet escape. Did i mention hunger games series yet? And gimme a book and I'll forget abt eating or sleeping till i complete it.

5. Slapstick comedies

I'm a cheap laugh-er. Lol i find joy in laughing at anything remotely funny.. a friend's dad calls me slapstick queen. Hahahahaha i found that funny too. But having said this, my sarcasm is quite on point too. So dont mess. 

6. Orange

The colour orange. Its just so bright and cheery and so happy. Sorry cant find any other better words to describe it lol. Yellow used to be my fav colour but then i found it too bright so suddenly it morphed to orange and I've stuck with this colour since idk..? Er. Maybe since power ranger ended haha cause i used to like trini, the yellow ranger. And if you know me, you'll agree that orange suits my personality. Or maybe you just think im annoying (orange) *cues laughter

7. Galaxies ( or rather the theory of multiple universes)

It might be because of the books i read or the theories that have been going around. Or the pictures that I've seen.. ok galaxies might not be the right word for no. 7. But i like the fact that there is so much out there we do not know of. This idea of multiverse is mind blowing.. we think we're everything but we're actually nothing. I think i exist here but i might actl not exist elsewhere..

8. Fan fiction

Haha is this the same as reading? I dont think so... anyways i love the idea of having possible alternate endings to books that i love. Like harry potter series... there's a hermione x draco story. How awesome is that??? Or a hermione x harry ending wah!!!!! Also reading fan fiction by others leads to finding gems(talented writers who can shine when given the chance) too.. *nerd alert*

Another reason i love fan fiction is cause it's so wonderful and amazing how different people's minds work. Same stories same characters but such different endings.. ok la and also because hunger games series, there's this couple i super love: annie and finnick. There's so much more to their love story than what is actl written in the books so I'm v intrigued by how others make of it. *kpo alert*

9. Bacon and eggs and potatoes and salmon ok sum it up. Food.

I dont exactly love eating or rather love is too strong a word to describe my feeling towards food/ eating. But if there's a few foods that i have to eat for the rest of my life.. it would be the 4 mentioned above. Alternatively you can give me a book and I'll forget about eating altogether. Oh and i think i forgot to mention mayonnaise :p @hypersubtleness is so judging me for this.. 

10. Kids / children

Hahahahahahahahaha please proceed to laugh until youve digested this nugget of info. Okay la very surprising that i love kids meh haha. When at parties or gathering, im always the one with the little kids playing with them, building blocks with them, doing colouring activities with them lol basically just being a kid with them cause they wont judge me for being childish haha. Also because of db, I'd like to think im strong enough to carry and swing them arnd hahaha. *psycho*

And they like me to do that to them haha. I think partly cause their parents dont have the energy to play with them like that.. well if i were to hsve my own kids, i think I'd probably be too tired to play with them so hard (physically, all the carry and swing and throw in the air and catch, superman them stuff) too..

I know top 10 doesnt include friends and families but that's kinda unspoken isnt it.. i think the 10 that I've chosen gives more insight to me as a person.. cant decide if i wna post this on insta. It's helluva long caption to post.. hahahaha

had an uber long weekend

it's monday again! time flies by so quickly.

weekends were spent doing work stuff.

x ot-ed on friday and then managed to squeeze out dinner at tim ho wan with fatty1 and a double couple later at night after work.

x prepped stuff for sun's auction on sat. basically it was a half day so yea. managed to also squeeze out time to go gym swim and tann after work. got slightly more tanned so i am not complaining. also fell asleep for an hour haha altho thankfully the sun went down and i didnt get burnt... it's beem so long since i have been out under the sun on weekends.

x auction day hahaha i thought things went rather ok but obv it could have been better... first my ppt jammed on me-.- then i accidentally flipped the screen but when we finally fixed, the customers clapped lol epic...

x mic went out of batt so we had intermission of some sort. lol i alot of london choco roll LOL wtf and also mintplus sweets. learnt new things during the auction cause i was at the registration booth though i would rather be at the display counter and interacting with the customers instead lol. but ah well, not complaining..

x followed/tagged along with fatty1 for his quest to search for his game: dragon age 2 lol. managed to buy it 2nd hand at tampines area, near my aunt's old place. and then no prizes for guessing what we did at home... LOL

back to work on a monday again. i dont like carousell! ): cause i have been spending alot of money haha fml..

oops sorry ahaha broke my promise to update this space everyday hehe getting abit lazy. just a little bit.

anyways auction is nearing whooo spent all my time preparing for it and it's finally arriving. excited but nervous at the same time cause i made so many mistakes in the catalogue and it's lucky that boss hasnt slain me...

it is mid week which means tmr is thurs and then it's tgif whooo (but i foresee ot cause auction on weekends)

going thru my phone gallery so i know what i have been up to. hahaha i take pictures of most of my activities lolol. some uninteresting updates and no, no pictures sorry.

x spent my day at the office scrolling and reading and watching the old videos of nteamdb girls. mainly from 2010 to 2012 period. hahahahah no earlier than that because i havent joined yet.. (i joined end of 2009) sigh i miss the old teammies. ok must specify.. only selected few. i dont miss ALL of them... watched videos on penang race... 20crew~~~~ i miss the feeling. that was in 2011 and teamnus was there too. and sparkly eyes went to my room to bathe heheheheehhe great memories lah.

x went to the gym wearing piglet socks and a pair of pink adidas shoes haha super super gay.. but it made my legs look long cause it was a bit elevated lol unlike the nike frees.. speaking of which, i cant find my frees leh idk where they are omg D:

x erms treated myself to the 25th year anni magnum hahahahah the champagne thingums.. silver looking one. it was alright~ not thaaaat awesome and the only reason i bought it was cause it was buy 2 get one free.. so the cost of one is much cheaper than if i just buy one. anways i bought haagen daaz too hahahaha cccd and macadamia nut...

x got myself a chanel inspired phone cover but instead of chanel, it's hello kitty instead. hahaha love it alot and i have been wearing it on my neck alot lololol super love the ribbon at the top... it's almost like the chanel perfume one but then it's changed to hello kitty style so instead of the perfume bottle cap, it's a hello kitty ribbon hahaha ok fine i am childish ok what can you do about it...

x met up with the ex batchies for a random dinner lololol been so long since i went to town... i miss town and i miss physically shopping... im always online shopping although i have cut down alot already..

x tried llaollao for the first time.... pronounced yao yao??? hahahahah it was alright. love the coconutalmond crunch and i love watermelon w yoghurt... hahahahaha

x went for a lunch with fatty1's family. and i must say the chicken wings at jcafe was awesome. and so is the chendol and the laksa and the chicken rice and the...... hahaha mostly everything was nice lah. except the curry chicken noodle. it was too... curryish?? not like the kind i am used to at my hse area..

x accompanied fatty1's family for some winter wear shopping cause they are going overseas at the end of the year. and i dont get the chance to follow this year... cause it's a family trip lolol guess i'll just look forward to gg there again with fatty1 next time maybe (:

x had madnest for dinner one fine monday cause aaron's gg over to uk soon. as i am typing this, he prolly has already landed... oishii maki, pitan maki, agedashi tofu, volcano maki.. these are a few things that we always order. and since i have been on a japanese high, i decided to order the sanshu sashimi too and it came with salmon, tuna and swordfish!!! swordfish is 2nd on my list after salmon!

x got invited over to yap's place yday after gym where he prepared steak for us hahahaha i prepped the rice and mixed in the seaweed with it and also managed to cook onsen egg lol actl just softboiled... anyways, it was really awesome. had sashimi to go along with it too. hahahah thank god for off days!!!

x went to mei-i sushi at international plaza for dinner today! decided to buy fatty1 dinner after getting my pay. and thank god for another off day tonight although we had trng early in the morning and i nearly died after that. and it was omakase style. shall try to remember what we had.. we had squid, onsen egg x uni!!!!!!, had a mini sashimi set with thick chunks of fish (salmon, ebi, otoro!!!!!!!, scallops, and seabream (if i am not wrong)), next up came the sushi i think omg shiok balls. had flouder, yellowjack, chutoro, akami, geoduck, some calm thingy. we also had the jap cucumbers and were dipping it into natto., had a clam miso soup as well. shiok balls. ikura sushi and uni sushi were the best!!! and saved for the last. esp the ikura soaked in sake!!!!!!!!!!! omg?!?!?!?!? goodness exploding out of the roes hahahaha. forgot what else we had but ahhhh it was money well spent and both fatty1 and i were bursting.

x eyeliner skills improved hehehe although i screwed up the left eye a little and i redrew it like 2 times....

x also went home to see the mothership for a little while and also collected my new stuff. hehehe say hi to my new chibi keychains all thanks to mabelstory! super super worth it to get that keychain although both fatty1 and i wont use it cause scared spoil.. he's always so rough and if he doesnt use it then no point i use it myself also lah cause it's meant as a coupley thing ok so lame ikr...

i think that's all for my mundane updates spanning over the week since i last updated hahaha bye. gotta shower and watch priest now! 

midweek midweek!

so it's the midweek and morning training has started. woke up at an unearthly 445 this morning to prepare and get ready for lao ban niang fetching me at 510.. was freezing this morning when i woke up and wrapped myself in a jacket while waiting outside the house.

was the first two to reach kallang and we were quite shocked ehehehehe. anyway things got moving along and we did 6x1k sets for the morning omg so tiring i swear. it's as if my body wasn't awake yet..

ended trng at 7 and managed to catch LOML for awhile before he went to his ulu place... followed teammies home and hitched a ride to dhoby ghaut for some amazazing BK bfast hehe im a full and bloated kid now. took a train to work, 2 stops away btw and went to let out a massive dump immediately after reaching office...

slothing away at my desk right now. i guess there's work to be done later cause boss is back....

this year is passing way too fast

i know i said i would try to update a little something everyday but ahhh i cant. and im thinking of shutting down blogspot but that would mean clearing all my memories and this blog has been with me through lotsa shit hahahahaha okay ill decide again and who reads blogs anymore anyway?????? i dont think people my age actually even have time to blog anymore....

so it is september

and  we are down to the last third of 2014! have you made any changes in your life? have you achieved a little something? if you havent, it isnt too late to start!

okay at work right now and thinking of green day's wake me up when september ends. hahaha shall attempt to blog more this sept to immortalise the little things in life that makes me happy / makes my world go round.

in no particular order. i am beginning to love my job more and more. probably cause i learn new things almost everyday and it is mostly unstressful.. wait till boss gets back haha it will be another story.
also been spending almost every night with LOML so all is quite good. it is as if some things never happened and i hope this lasts. i better control my temper. and destroying things never felt better. snapped the CD into 2..... and it feels good.. altho i did feel a little guilty. but cmon, dont mess... i dont fight to lose..
always on the lookout for new jap restaurants to visit haha i think we are addicted to oishii maki and pitan maki from madnest. also visited one at siglap called megumi.. it was super nice lah i like haha and next to visit would be mikuni at fairmount but that will have to wait till my pay comes in. also waku ghin at mbs hahaha i think that one wait for bonus or sth LOL wtf. tried this place called jiro at siglap area also. haha super expensive and i think not worth it lo. megumi's better and only 1/3 of the price.
there's kinkin chilli pan mee outside the house area haha shall give that a try soon. hmm and mookata at boatquay area ahhhhhhhhhhh so many things i wanna eat. so little time...
