18th birthday + 1st land trials update
happy me with the huge ass cake after a successful time trial nah!!! cake in your face! with xiaowei :D and the happy bday tag on mah face. landy maomao hahahahah her legs are the legs of my dreams omg drools needless to say, signature pose w the annoying one and another..... big face in your face / on your comp. my lovelies. who've been with me thru thick and thin. sigh miss the days we were rowing tgt carefree-ly in SPDB mini surprise for lzl the cake lover cupcakes from josssssssminong sunflowers from josssss as well. hehehe 2nd person in my life to give me flowers. hell yea we do.
so first ever trials since march was held yesterday. and i must say i didnt do as badly as expected. here's a slight breakdown for my own benefit incase i wanna track back and look how far i have come.
first up was the run segment, many of the girl's most dreaded station hahaha. for me, it's just another 2k run, was never scared of running :/ how badly can i do? so this station was the one where i was aiming for more points cause i'll surely lose out at the weights station.
managed to burst out at the start and hit my stride quite early. but the air was humid and i was breathing heavily all the way. light footed and tried pumping my hands faster but haha it didn't work and i felt that my arms were v heavy :/ swallowed two flies along the way WTFFFFFF -.- anyway i should be a little honest hehe felt abit pressured to perform during this run cause the usual suspects did well and i cant lose out haha.
next up was pullups, had to walk back to bunk and mental prep for pullups. dont have momentum for pullups and i felt that my arms were giving way. managed to kick my way into a measly 13 :/ before i lost grip. much to improve on on this station since the highest recorded was 30+ hahaha i am sooooooo far away. only about 1/3 of hers oops.
sit ups came after. it was fast and furious the way they did their sit ups haha i think my fast twitch muscles arent fast enough LOL 49 was what i clocked. better than previously but still a long way off from the top hahaha
bench pull station omg my dreaded weights stations are here hahahahaha did alright on this station although i was a little too conservative with my weights. but still managed to surprise myself and increased my weights. highly suspect i can do better next time round :D will train to be stronger hehehehe
bench press was also another surprise. have been struggling with weights all along during trng. only managed to do 19/side the previous time so i started with that. was a pretty smooth rep so i decided to up my weights hahaha hit it too. but for the last rep i think i upped too much and it was a failed attempt sian nvm! will be better :D
lastly was ergo.. not to be shameless but my ergo has improved by leaps and bounds ever since i found out the secret in how to connect my legs to kick. it's just a machine and all machines have loopholes haha the trick is to find the rhythm in your pull and keep it to that, at least for me that works. hahah improved by about 10m plus from the prev trials. didn't manage to hit 300 though :/ ah well, next trials can be better. i just need more practice.
so that's it for the summary of the trials. after that, we had a mini bday celebration for yours truly hehe forced everyone to eat the cake. and they loved it lah please. hahaha force would be the wrong word to use. had also a mini photo taking session lol (being the camwhore that i am) and off to dinner with jos and wj :D and had stomachache. wtf. ok my fingers are tired. still basking in contentment of trials :D buhbye. awaiting lunch with jos at 12 whooopwhooop
